Vitalis acquired his skills through extensive training. He is one of very few European practitioners, who mastered Chinese language to be able to access a deeper understanding of Chinese medicine and acupuncture.

Vitalis is a loving father of two. Spending quality time with his children is one of his very favourite things.

    Subsequent to the language studies, he trained and qualified in acupuncture from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine where he was granted a bachelor degree in Chinese medicine and Acupuncture.

    Vitalis passion is being an acupuncture practitioner and caring for patients with reproductive health problems, pain, stress/anxiety, depression and others. Vitalis provides acupuncture, herbal medicine and manual therapy. He is a member of the New Zealand Acupuncture Standards Authority.

    Tutor/Clinical supervisor at New Zealand School of Acupuncture. Upon arrival to New Zealand Vitalis has been recruited to teach acupuncture at New Zealand School of acupuncture where he had a role of supervising acupuncture clinic of the final year students. He soon realised that what he most enjoyed was being acupuncture practitioner and caring for patients with reproductive health problems and pain.

    Vitalis has been practising various mind-body techniques since a young age. He keenly shares mindfulness, meditation and breathing techniques with his patients.

  • Languages spoken

    Vitalis speaks fluent English, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin) and Lithuanian; he can understand Dutch and German. Patients speaking any of these languages are welcome.

Roberta is the only acupuncturist in NZ holding the title of Fellow of American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine.

She completed her Master’s degree at Zhejiang University of Chinese Medicine.

Currently, Roberta works on a study involving acupuncture in advanced maternal age patients/poor IVF responders.

Roberta is a recipient of Ngaire Walsh award (Natural Fertility New Zealand). As a Natural Fertility New Zealand accredited fertility educator she runs fertility workshops for women trying to conceive.

Roberta is a full practising member of Acupuncture NZ (formerly NZRA) and ACC acupuncture provider.
