Acupuncture for Neuropathy: “I have less pain in my legs, more sensation in my feet and the hold and cold sensations have gone. I have been able to resume some physical activities such as Yoga and that I previously enjoyed.” Janene

I developed Neuropathy after two successful sessions of Chemotherapy over a period of 18 months that caused damage to the nerve endings in my feet.

The condition was very debilitating as a result of continual pain , uncomfortable sensations of hot and cold and numbness in my feet causing difficulty walking.

The condition was diagnosed by my GP and I was informed that the condition may go away with time but there was guarantee of this and no treatment options available.

After researching for possible therapeutic options it was apparent that some neurological conditions such as Neuropathy responded to Acupuncture and I sought the advice of Dr Vitalis .

He informed me he had previously treated Neuropathy affected patients using Acupuncture with successful outcomes .

Over a period of 8 weeks I had two weekly sessions with Dr Vitalis and Roberta Mek.

As a result there has been a considerable improvement. I have less pain in my legs, more sensation in my feet and the hold and cold sensations have gone. I have been able to resume some physical activities such as Yoga and that I previously enjoyed.

I am grateful to Dr Vitalis and Roberta Mek for their expertise and attention and would have no hesitation in recommending them to any patient affected with Neuropathy.

“diagnosed with endometriosis and following laparoscopic surgery, I struggled with severe pelvic pain and cramps.” Imogen

Since being diagnosed with endometriosis at the start of the year and following laparoscopic surgery for treatment, I struggled with severe pelvic pain and cramps. The pain and medication required to manage the pain itself were hugely impacting my life. Some days I was unable to get out of bed without strong pain medication. I decided to try acupuncture after being recommended by a friend and trying all other alternatives treatments.

Within two months, acupuncture had given my life back to me. I am now pain-free and am no longer reliant on medication to manage my condition. I have been able to exercise pain-free again and attend university, and work no longer worrying about potential pelvic pain or cramps.

Thank you,

Imogen
